A dating app gave Akshay and me an almost-perfect match score and somehow, it was right. From Oregon and Chennai, India, to a life full of puns, hand-holding, Disney magic, vegetarian menu checks, and plenty of “are you sure?” moments, we’ve built something that feels easy, funny, loving, and completely our own.

We love a good adventure, whether it’s traveling somewhere new, sharing our favorite places, building LEGO together, or cuddling our Frenchies. Our dogs have been such a sweet part of our little family, and home feels happiest when there are paws nearby. Cray would have made the perfect groomsman, but he is now over the rainbow. Rex has happily stepped into the spotlight... maybe a little too happily. He will be part of our wedding, but you’ll have to be there to find out exactly how.

Akshay and I also love a good home renovation, and we are definitely not afraid of power tools. We’ve been doing a ton of work on our Northwest contemporary house to make it feel like ours — from a big pantry/laundry room project to stone paths, retaining walls, and fixing a very neglected sprinkler system. The fountain has been eluding us, but we’ll get it going someday. We still have so much more to do, but that feels like part of the fun: building our home, our life, and our story together.
